As Leavenworth shifts into the warm, golden technicolor of Fall, it’s a great time to make plans to visit! Whether your idea of relaxation is reading by a roaring fire, or being a little more active, we’ve got you covered!
Autumn in Leavenworth is simply the best time to visit this Bavarian-inspired area. Not only are the local produce stands overflowing with tree-ripened fruit, but Leavenworth is host to some of the finest outdoor recreation in the Pacific Northwest. With the foliage bursting with color and the feel of the crisp morning air, you’ll feel nature in its finest form.
You’ll want to check out one of the iconic beer gardens that call Leavenworth home. With German-style architecture and the sound of oompah music, enjoy a sampling of bratwurst, sauerkraut, and schnitzel. And that’s just the start! Slather Bavarian mustard on an oven fresh pretzel, sample tangy German potato salad, and top it all off with apple strudel or gingerbread. Central Washington is wine country, and you’ll find loads of wineries and tasting rooms in the Leavenworth
Autumn Leaf Festival – September 28 & 29 Leavenworth’s longest-running festival – returns to celebrate this enchanting time of year with its 60th festival. Highlights include food booths, music in the park, the kid’s parade, and the Grand Parade with the 2024 Royal Lady.
